We act in harmony with nature. We want our principles of social and environmental responsibility to contribute towards making South Tyrol a sustainable tourism destination for the future. They include these measures:

Waste avoidance according to the minimal-waste principle in the kitchen: Guests at Sensoria Dolomites choose their evening meal in the morning, helping us avoid overproduction and food wastage.
Use of an environmentally friendly dosage system in our laundry and by our external partners, as well as use of biodegradable detergents
Use of cotton fabrics throughout our place of spiritual power that have been produced in compliance with Fairtrade International and the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
Active avoidance of the use of plastics in all areas
Creation of meadows and green roofs that are insect-friendly and promote biodiversity
Use of regional and natural building materials during the conversion (wood from South Tyrolean forests)

Because using energy resources responsibly is important to us, we produce environmentally friendly electricity for Sensoria Dolomites with our own photovoltaic system.

We insist on sustainability in all cosmetics products used at Sensoria Dolomites – for the good of the planet and your health. The high-quality products by German organic cosmetics line Pharmos Natur combine eco-friendly production with top skin-friendliness, making them our first choice. Instead of water, the cosmetics are based on 100% organic aloe vera juice and are completely free of parabens, PEGs, nanoparticles, microplastic, alcohol, citric acid, and genetic engineering. Pharmos Natur values mindful cultivation of the raw ingredients in organic mixed-crop agriculture as well as fair trade with small producers, and avoids animal testing in its production. The unique effect of the natural cosmetics is ensured by a special production process that preserves and activates the biophotons, which are precious, versatile plant extracts. This creates the highly effective BiophotonactivE® complex that promotes the vitality, regeneration, and rejuvenation of the cells.

Promoting sustainable, climate-friendly travel is close to our hearts, which is why we offer e-charging stations in our underground car park that you’re welcome to use for a fee.

Because we care about the environment, we don’t use single-use plastic. All water bottles at Sensoria Dolomites are made of glass and are filled with fresh water from Mt Sciliar/Schlern. After use, the bottles are washed and reused.

To support the best-possible recycling of all reusable materials, we carefully separate waste in all areas of the hotel.
