Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm (Seis am Schlern)

Sciliar/Schlern (Seis am Schlern)
At the gateway to the Dolomites. A symbol of South Tyrol. The local mountain of the village Seis am Schlern. A unique mountain massif with its unmistakable shape and power. Find peace at 2,563 metres above sea level.

Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel and Sassolungo/Langkofel
A spectacular circular route without especially steep inclines leads around these impressive mountain giants. The 17-kilometre-long trail promises unique views of Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Val Gardena/Grödnertal, and the Puez-Odle/Puez-Geisler group.

Laghetto di Fiè/Völser Weiher
For us, it’s one of the most beautiful bathing lakes in the whole of the Alps – and it’s also known as one of the cleanest. At the foot of Sciliar/Schlern, you can treat yourself to a refreshing dip with a magical backdrop at just over 1,000 metres above sea level.

Seceda
On the sunny side of Val Gardena/Grödnertal, leisurely Alpine pasture trails await you in Puez-Odle/Puez-Geisler Nature Park. You can reach the summit at 2,519 metres above sea level after a panoramic hike that is an experience for all ability levels.

Prösels castle (Völs am Schlern)
Renaissance castle that was first documented in 1279 and was the residence of the lords of Völs. Discover the Knight’s Hall, Fireplace Room, and castle chapel during a guided tour. It can also be hired for unforgettable celebrations.

Dolomites Museum Col Raiser (St. Christina)
Insights into the history of mountain tourism that you can touch: In this private museum, you can admire a collection of historical paintings of the Dolomites as well as mountain equipment from bygone days.

Sabiona/Säben monastery (Klausen)
Visible from afar, the monastery has watched over Klausen since the 17th century. Absolutely worth a visit for its archaeological, historical, and artistic importance, high up on Sabiona/Säben mountain. It served as an abbey until November 2021.

The leaning (church) tower of Barbian (Barbian)
One of South Tyrol’s most curious attractions: The leaning church tower of the 14th century parish church can be seen from far and wide. The pinnacle is over 1.5 metres out of plumb – and has been for centuries.

Villanders Archeoparc (Villanders)
Here, you’ll find remains of buildings from Roman times and the Middle Ages in a roofed area. One of the most significant archaeological sites throughout the Alps awaits you in sunny Valle Isarco/Eisacktal.

Neustift monastery (Vahrn near Brixen)
Convention centre, wine estate, centre of art, and residence of the Augustinian Canons. Tyrol’s largest monastery complex was founded in 1142 and combines Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements into a harmonious whole.

Brixen cathedral and cloister (Brixen)
